Dry Socket
Did you know Dry Socket is a common complication after tooth extraction? Dry
socket means the socket is dry since the blood clot failed to form to allow healing. This in turn causes severe pain 2-3 days after tooth extraction. It can happen to anyone but risks is higher in smokers and women on oral contraceptives.
